Hey Guys....apparently our league format is too much for the new guy Larry..he is dropping out...Mike(Preds) wants to join back in, was looking at Frenzy, but I'll see if he wants to take over Larry's/Brett's team again....
I think the fair thing would be to go over bidding done by Larry...invalidate all his bids, and put them back to the previous high bid...I also think we should put the RFA bidding on hold until Monday and see where we are at that time.... Any other ideas? I am open for discussion, but this seems to be fairest things..I would hate to start all over again.

All of the above sounds reasonable to me. Mike would get a few days to decide on strategy and we wouldn't have to worry about a new owner and all of the associated hassels.

I am not in favor for puttinng the bids on Hold. I have no problem bidding against someone who has since droped out since my bids were against a legimate owner at the time of my bid.

but if we dont put it on hold, then we exclude the new owner from being able to bid on them.

Hey Tom,
I understand your point...my issue is if we continue with the bids without one owner, than that team could be harder to fill, since they had no shot at obtaining additional players during this period, or for that matter, the option to match or decline their own RFA's.

Sorry Burt, I have to pass on SACD.
I'm not even sure I could keep up with Frenzy. SACD is twice the work with the IDP's, and renegs, etc. That said, IMO you've done yeoman's work in keeping SACD in WAY better shape then Frenzy. Frenzy is just a disaster from what I've seen, thus I think I'll just stay semi-retired and stick only with my local redraft. I'm sure SACD will be fine, though I doubt Frenzy lasts more than another year or so unless drastic changes are made. Kinda sad.

May I throw out another sugestion - why not have three members make RFA decisions for the NON-Owner. Each having a say (2 votes either way wins) on what to do during this period, that way we continune on as is. This league is intense, my April is slow and this fits well for me to be involved. May and June are tougher, so if we delay this process I get hurt as I will not be as involved, and I see that as not fair to me.

That's fine with me....if you can round up 3 coaches who want to do that, and someone can coordinate it...I don't have the time to join in, as getting the 2010 site up and running will be taking up enough of my free time.
I am going to post on FBG to see if we can find an owner to take over here, and hopefully fill in Frenzy also....

I'd be willing to help out Shep. I'm in Colorado, so I won't be able to get started each day until about 9:30 EST, but I'm usually online until 12:30 EST. Let me know if you need me and I'll send you my phone # so you can get me if I'm not online.

Starting at 12:01AM Monday, this is how much time will be remaining on the clock for current bid...if bid is made clock will reset to 48 hours from time of bid as normal.
24 hours - Benson, Goldson 48 hours - Everyone else Suggs - 24 hours to match/decline ROY - 48 hours to match/decline Any questions?
