Clausen is accurate on short-to-intermediate throws, has a high football IQ, and is widely considered the No. 2 quarterback prospect in this draft class.
He fell into an excellent situation in Carolina, where only Matt Moore, a former undrafted free agent with eight professional starts, stands in his way of a starting job.
