So I had an option... take the best WR on the board (Vincent Brown) or go with one of the many RBs who are not "sure things" (Murray, Hunter, Rodgers, Helu, Jones). Despite the fact that I have contributing RBs on SF & Dallas (and that Dallas is my team!), I decided on the newest COLT. I'm not sold that any current RB in the Colts' stable is durable enough to stay entrenched as the #1 back. I'll take my chances on the power back from Syracuse and see how things shake out over the next few years...

I'm a Colts fan and I can't give you my opinion on him, I may want him in SACD (oops). I have Donald Brown on my taxi squad and I'll make you a good deal on him?

I'll give him to you and my 2012 #1 for Mark Ingram.

I don't like him that much, however he would be more valuable under the proposed rule change (but not valuable enough for your trade proposal).

![]() This may be a stupid question then... but if you liked him so much, why didn't you draft him at 2.01? I was actually considering taking him at 1.10 before I traded it away. Did you like Torrey Smith even better? |

My selection of Smith was based on need composed of position and cap space. If RB was the higher priority I would have considered him along with one other RB.

Understand the need part. However, just a reminder that the cap space shouldn't come into play... as salaries on the TS don't count towards the active roster (unless you would have expected to put them into your active slot!).
