It is with heavy heart that I confirm the rumor that Dalvin Cook will no longer be a Zombie Pirate, but the Pirate organization is excited to obtain the services of Phillip Lindsey for the 2019 season.

It was a pleasure doing business with the Zombie Pirates. We never even dared to dream we could acquire Cook. A healthy back and forth during negotiations existed.

We believe some previous conversations (different player) had an impact on our newest owner along with a healthy dose of homerism played a large role in this deal getting done.

One of our 3 1st round picks was a heavy price to pay, but in the end getting Cook with a few more years of team control was worth the gamble.

Best of luck to Zombie Pirates with a young obviously talented player in Phillips.

Yes David is a Denver Homer.....But Lindsey's ties to the Broncos only played a very minimal part in this transaction. I see the possibility of similar production from these two players and have hopes of landing a player at the 1.07 draft spot that will fit in well with the Zombie Pirate's offense this season and over the next several years.
