I did quite a bit of research on this pick. Actually on the 6th round as a whole. Seeing as I traded away all but 2 of my picks in the top 60, and had 4 picks in the 6th (plus 5 additional next year), I wanted to discover the hidden gems.In DB Nick Collins, LB Kirk Morrison, and now DL Dan Cody I think I have a solid core or potentially solid IDP's who can excel as FF prospects. I trust Baltimore's ability to evaluate talent, especially elite talent. Yeah I could have had say Marcus Spears, but Baltimore's track history, system, and coaching is more appealiing. I like this pick also... I was debating between him and Marshall the QB turning WR that I took. He should get significant playing time this year and work his way into one of the starting OLB positions (probably strong side) within the next couple of years.
Nice pick Late |
