I love how you spent more on Broks now considering the cap hit.... ok it's only 8cbs more, but still.

I gues syou can tack an extra year on there though and have him signed up for next.

An 8cb loss this season for a 237cb savings in year 2 of a contract....I'll take it any day. I was going to sign him for 2 years when I initially acquired him, but realizing how cheap everyone's valued LBs, I knew I could save more by renegotiating his value (especially when I was able to grab Bulluck for peanuts). Now I'm tempted to sign him to a 3 year contract considering that 3rd year salary would still be cheaper than what I initially acquried him at. Looks like you all will have to deal with this LB corp for years to come.

I knew you experienced IDPers would crush me on the defensive side of the ball. I didn't even bother trying to compete. Is that linebacking corp going to make up for what you lack on offense (not that your offensive is horrible, I'm not saying that, but it certainly isn't as strong as others)? Honestly, I don't know. True dat! In my eyes, I see too many offensive players overvalued and too many defensive players undervalued. I'll take the lack of offense this season and hope the market rights itself to more reasonable values for future years. I'm stacking myself with top-notch IDPs in hope that IOP values decline considerably in the next few years. It's a risk but one I'm willing to take.
