TS Players with Guaranteed Contracts:
Swords: Miles Sanders (3 years remaining at start of 2021)
Drew Sample (1 year remaining at start of 2021)
Opihi: D’Andre Swift (4 years remaining at start of 2021)

Rule changes would take affect at the start of the 2021 season, so the following players will not be impacted by the rule change:
Pirates: Austin Siebert (contract expires before 2021 season)
Roosters: Anthony Miller AND Nyheim Hines (both are 2018 draftees and must be activated prior to 2021)

For some reason I though I had activated Moss last year. Probably should have over Singletary.

So we're talking 3 impacted players, 2 of whom have bright futures and were used in 2020 at least 1 week, the other only having 1 year left on his deal (Sample).

Of course Pat has moved on to impacting decisions he made last year, which in essence is saying the rules shouldn't apply to the 2021 draft class either. To this I say some of my favorite sayings. "IT IS WHAT IT IS!"

Not saying it should impact 2021 draft class, but had i known this rule would be as is, I may not have traded away some of the picks I did.

I'm fine with keeping my player (Swift) with his 4 year contract... and allowing any others who haven't been active to have their years erased. But that's just me.
