Just wanting to make sure there is some logic to it vs. just thinking we need some arbitrary deciding line.

With rookies, they haven't played a single game yet. If they are drafted as DB and switch to LB before the season starts, I think the rookie's salary should adjust to the position change salary at that draft position. When the season starts, I think the rookie values should lock at that current position they are slated at.

I'm not talking about vets here.

Did we settle this? Is he mine as a DE or back on the market as a LB?

IMO. Lang is a clearly a LB (as listed on Clevelands Team website which actually is covered in the rules as Skippy pointed out) and thus has NOT sold as his position was listed inaccurately (an oversight I know, but if Burt's bid of 1.0 instead of 100 is invalid, so is a bid for the wrong position, which can clearly impact a players perceived value).

Not sure what the Rules Committee's feeling is on this, but as Commish, this is how I see it.
