I think its a phenomenal deal personally. No way I intended him to go for that little, just fell asleep on it. I think the balance of power in the central just changed hands with this acquisition.

Maybe it's being in Philly but unless something in TO changes I think that this is a bad deal (3 years creates a pretty big penatly when/if you have to cut him).

There was a certain value in signing him for 2 years at say less than 1350/1375, then he costs you about $1,500 next year and has the potential to actaully outplay that price. He is still a head case but that is not that big of a risk.

However, he will cost close to 2K next year and is still a head case.

Who knows maybe he is super for whoever ends up with him (in the NFL) and learns to not get himself thrown off the field. The talent is there but he still seems like a pricey risk/reward play to me.
