2008 Playoff Scenario

Bloodsuckers, 36 Chambers and Geeks have all clinched thier Divisions.

If Gunslingers win, they get the Wild Card.

If Gunslingers lose and both Floyds and Eco Warriors win, then it will come down to total points, since each team is 1-1 against the other 2.

If Eco Warriors lose, than regardless of what happens, Gunslingers are Wild Card.

I think that covers it.

I know I am a little slow on the uptake but if Jake wins and I lose (you still need to win) and at that time it becomes a three way tie where the points will decide it. Is it points for or against or the differential? If Jake wins and you lose (and I lose) then Jake would get the wildcard.

So basically in the cases where I lose you have a chance to have three way tie if you win and Jake wins. I know have the best all play record but I am not sure about how the points themselves stand. Either way it does not seem like you have great odds (though now that I have written that you will probably secure the wild card).

If you and Jake tie, then you are correct, Jake gets the WildCard due to head-to-head record. Sorry, I left that scenario out...tunnell vision...

If we are all three tied, it comes down to overall points....you currently have a 24 point lead on me...easy to overcome...Jake is 200 points behind us, and no way to overcome that...the Division record only comes into play to decide Division tiebreaker. We have no all-play tie-breaker.

From the Rules:

The Leagues tie-breaking system for play-off qualification and seeding is as follows:
1. Head-to-head record
2. Division Record (between teams from the same division)
3. Total Overall Points
4. Coin Toss
