Assign TE Jared Cook to Injured Reserve

Injuries keep piling up for the Preds and I need a roster spot for a WR2 this week with Garcon probably out again and my 3 Pittsburgh WR's on bye.

Sorry Jared, but you lose out in the numbers game for the time being and your shoulder injury this past weekend will put you in street clothes for the Preds for at least the next 4 weeks. Hang tough kid, you'll get your chances!

Just curious on when people are eligible for IR in this league, as in SACD we have to wait until they are listed in the official weekly injury report. I just ask as I have Cook in SACD and have been monitoring his status, and so far all reports sound like he will play this week, but in the end he could be questionable.
Also, I ask as I DHB and he is almost certainly not playing this week but he isn't officially listed as injured anywhere yet.

I go by MFL (thought Frenzy did as well ever since the NFL changed the injury reports).

They have Cook as Questionable this week.

Since this was TWO YEARS AGO... and we've been operating with that as the rule, I'm going to say YES! (We'll say it was majority rule back then. Now we know better and go for a unanimous in-season vote on any rule change.)

It works for me...and I need to remember to fix it in SAC'd..I much prefer we go by whatever MFL has the player listed as..anything that makes less work for the commish and helpers I am all for!!

I know when I ran my local league we switched to MFL as well. It was too difficult to go by the "official" NFL injury reports once HIPAA came around and the NFL decided to be even more cryptic with injury designations and the % practiced and whatnot.

Also, since MFL is the league host, and we already rely on them for scoring, I think it makes sense to use their reports for injuries as well. And as Burt mentioned, doing so makes the commish and helpers jobs much easier, which is always a good thing.
