Seems like everyone has a bunch of money tied to high priced RFA's...guess once Jim loses on both Charles and Johnson, he'll throw a couple more out there...once teams have RFA being bid on they plan to dump, they can start bidding...

Speculation on my part...

Jim and Patrick both like to play it fast and loose (poker talk) with their cap $s. Jim still has a lot of play left and Patrick is getting close on his commitments.

This is the problem I was trying to highlight. I would love to be able to bid on some of these guys but until someone bids on one of my players I am not able to b/c it would put me over the cap.

You can always BID on someone... if you win them, however, you'll need to make the necessary cuts... knowing that you've got your RFA players "on the hook" until someone bids on them. There's nothing against bidding on anyone at ANY time. You just have 24 hours to get your roster in line, in case you are awarded any player.

Good point and thanks for clarifying. I don't want to get caught in a position of having to cut someone so I will be waiting until at least one of my guys gets bid on. Of course I would also be happy to take all my players back at the bid price!!

Just did not understand.. You had 'said told' in the sentence. Take one of those words out, it note makes sense.

And yes, I still stand by that. Would rather have Nelson than Marshall

Very interesting scenarios this year in RFA. So many declines. And with still 10 days to go in our RFA period, arguably the top 3 QBs in the league have yet to be bid on... AND 2 of the top 5 fantasy RBs are without an offer. These last 10 days should be interesting!

I didn't want you to have any chance to bid on other RFAs earlier in the "season." It's only a lousy 150cbs... I'm sure you'll still match. BUT JUST IN CASE YOU DON'T...
