Are the Draft Results posts supposed to reflect trades after the pick? For example, should Brian Thomas, Jr. be moved under my team, or left where he is, since technically, I'm not the one who picked him?

We could put a parenthesis notation after the pick (Traded to Chicaux) or something.
It's kind of unprecedented... though they do it in the NBA every year!

Since the Player (not the pick) was traded, does the Contract Years need to be declared now?

Good question. I'd lean towards no... but I'm not a commish in this league! lol

While he falls into both categories (rookie, player traded), I would lean towards the rookie designation taking precedence for declarations.

While rare, I don't think this is the first time a drafted rookie has been traded during the same draft. I'd have to look back, but I'm pretty sure years didn't need to be declared until the normal declaration date before the season starts.

I am going to say years do not need to be declared - its basically a pick being traded in disguise.

I like that we have moved the Frenzy draft out a few weeks. I think it has allowed us to concentrate more on this draft, and make more trades.


What do you guys think, I know most of us are in both leagues? Would you be open to making it permanent? If so, I'll propose it in Frenzy.

The downside for me is showing you hole cards.
Oh he took so-and-so middle of 1st round rather than expected 2nd round, so I better grab him earlier.

The other is we had discussed moving RFA bidding back until the NFL schedule is released, so depending on how far back this is, can we afford to also move back the rookie draft?

Frenzy is less rounds, and usually finishes much quicker than SAC'd so maybe not a big deal...

Agree ... In Frenzy I know I have to take Estime late 2nd or early 3rd to get my Homer Pick

I agree that Years do not need to be declared, but precedence was set in Frenzy a few years back.
