Should we push the end of RFA bidding and the Rookie draft back a week? The NFL schedule doesn't come out until May 15, so we won't know if we're screwed on bye weeks until then

Yes, personally I think the schedule should come out before we do RFA's, including declaring them.

I'm confused. May 15 is middle of RFA so why would we push the end back? I don't think we've ever had the NFL schedule prior to start of RFA.

Just thinking I would wait to start bidding on some of the players I am eyeing until we know bye weeks...I need a QB, and don't want to have them all on bye same week..

Oh so push the START of RFA to next week, not the END of RFA. But that would still be before the schedule is released. I guess closer to it. I'm fine either way, but it looks like bidding already began. Do we pause that bid or invalidate it? i'll pause starting bids until further notice

Since the current bid was placed prior to the requested change in the schedule, I think that one bid should play out.
Not fair to Freedom to pause his bid after the fact. I don't think the NFL schedule (or bye weeks) will impact anyone bidding on Barkley.

Any additional bids can start next week.

I am flying to Rome on Sunday and will be in Europe for 2 weeks (2 days in Rome and then 10 day cruise to the Greek Isles, and a few additional stops in Italy (Messina, Amalfi, and Florence), Naples, coming back late on the 24th.

I will have limited internet and checking in on RFA's is simple enough while abroad. I don't expect I'll be too active in RFA either way.

Sorry - I was just thinking of pushing back end date - I personally am hoping to wait to bid on certain players until I see the schedule - if people want to bid before that, go for it.

so EXTEND RFA one week and START rookie draft a week later than scheduled?

Are we adjusting the dates? Might want to make a decision now so we can all plan accordingly.

Sat., May 3rd at 12:00am - RFA Bidding Opens
Sun., June 1st at 11:59pm - RFA Bidding Closes
Mon., June 9th at 12:00am - Rookie Draft Begins

So bidding was not suspended until the schedule drop tonight? This is a little confusing as I have not been checking the board because I thought we were on pause here.

I had suggested to push the end date back, but the powers that be had not made a decision, so guess we are just rolling with original posted dates...
