I don't have anyone who will hand anyone the championship, but if you are looking to fill a hole for the playoff push, and need help at one of these positions, let me know. I'm looking for the typical picks, young players, or reneg canidates:
QBs: David Carr, currently the 11th ranked QB in SAC'D scoring. 2 years @ 638. Reasonable contract for lower tier starter/solid depth. Remaining schedule is Tennessee, NY Giants, Jacksonville, Buffalo, NY Jets, Oakland, Tennessee, with New England and Indianapolis in the playoffs. Brett Favre, currently the 12th ranked QB in SAC'D scoring. 1 year @ 585. Reasonable contract for lower tier starter, solid depth. Remaining Schedule is Arizona, Buffalo, Minnesota, New England, Seattle, NY Jets, San Francisco, with Detroit and Minnesota in the playoffs (home vs Minnesota). WRs: Amani Toomer, currently the 28th ranked WR in SAC'D scoring. 1 year @ 275. Cheap contract to fit on any roster, could be reneg'd to a moderate 425. Solid #3 WR for any team (unless you are stacked at WR). Remaining schedule is Tampa Bay, Houston, Chicago, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Dallas, Carolina, with Philadelphia and New Orleans in the playoffs. DLs: Osi Umenyiora, currenyly 23rd ranked DL in SAC'D scoring. 1 year @ 374. LBs: Ray Lewis, currently the 12th ranked LB in SAC'D scoring. 1 year @ 1350. Heavy contract, but I can take some dead weight contract back in return. Lewis is back to old form, and unless your team is the 36 Chambers, this guy can start for you. Remaining schedule is New Orleans, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Kansas City, with Cleveland and Pittsburgh in the playoffs (lots of running teams). Playoff push, hell, I'd just like to stay out of the bottom 5 or 6. I cant believe I gave away a potential top 3/top 4 pick to Burt for freaken Vernon Davis.
:dammit

That being said, there's no doubt I've lost a step, primarily due to rapidly declining interest in FF.

Predators Looks like they lost their mind Formerly dominating Predators Oh the champs that were Scattered rosters Of the teams they left behind Players they gave to another Never played again Can it be that it was all so easy then? Or has footballguys helped other teams If they had the chance to do it all again Tell me, could they? Could they? Predators, maybe be softening and yet Wins too painful to remember They simply choose to forget So it’s the losses They will remember Whenever they remember The way they were The way they were |

ROFLMAO ROFLMAO ROFLMAO
For the record, I consider anyone who relies on FBG for FF success to be seriously handicapped by the crap saturated info FBG puts out. I don't hesitate to point newbs there way, as it does initially help them, but for the most part, their info is over saturated crap. The boards have more reliable info than anything they officially publish. I'm not impressed with their info and do not subscribe to them or any pay site these days. Yes my SACD team is struggling, but I'm still doing very well in my other leagues, my declining interest has much more to do with the NFL as a whole than anything else. I play FF these days strictly for the comraderie, the game of football itself has bored me to tears for 2 years now. All that being said, your re-written lyrics are quite funny !

I still have some players that can help you in the stretch run.
QB - Brett Favre - Moved up to 10th place in SAC'D scoring. 1 year @ 585. Upcoming games are Buffalo, Minnesota, New England, Seattle, NY Jets, San Francisco, with Detroit and Minnesota in the playoffs (home vs Minnesota). Any pick and he's yours. WR - Amani Toomer - currently 32nd WR in SAC'D scoring. Comes cheap at 1 @ 275. Remaining games are Houston, Chicago, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Dallas, Carolina, with Philadelphia and New Orleans in the playoffs. Any pick and he's yours. LB - Ray Lewis - Currently the #4 LB in SAC'D scoring. Expensive contract at 1350, but I have room to take dead weight. I'm currently planning on RFAing him, so a higher pick would be required for a solid stud. Remaining games are Cincinnati, Tennessee, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Kansas City, with Cleveland and Pittsburgh in the playoffs (lots of running teams). |
