It is a bit early only two weeks, but it looks like I was right about LT not being worth 5000... then again I'm wrong about Jamal Lewis... but he only costs 3500.

I believe bidding should have ended since Burt's bid was 24hrs and 4 minutes after Ben's, correct?

4 years... I need some help here. How do add him to my team with 4 years if I have my years spread our on the other players already? Does this put me over the limit?

If you want to do 4 years but don't have that number of years under the cap you would need to clear the needed number of years. You can do this by trading or cutting a player(s). Hope that helps!

According to the website, you are currently at 58 years, so an additional 4 would put you at 62, still below the cap...so you are fine.
You really should be keeping track of this on your own cheat sheet...shoot me an email if you would like some help setting this up, but really it's just a matter of jotting down your players, their salaries and years, and adding them up and making sure they are below the cap limits. Players on IR count half of their salary towards your cap, and you get one year of their contract back to sign new player replacment. Make sense?

Sorry Ben, but this signing takes you over your CB cap of 20,000. You were under your years, but you have to stay under both.
3. Teams are expected to responsibly manage their own salary obligations. Total bids that exceed the 20,000 CB's salary cap will be permitted, as it is not likely that all bids will be winners. However, if a team should have winning bids that exceed the salary cap, punitive action will be taken. If a team makes an acquisition (trade or free agent signing) which places them over the salary cap, they must release appropriate personnel to meet the cap restriction within 24 hours or roster penalties will be assessed. 1st offense, 20% cap release penalty and 30 day bid moratorium on player in question Thus Sproles becomes a FA again, and you cannot bid on him for 30 days. In addition, you will be assessed a 130cb penalty.

Is Sproules eligible as a waiver play? Just a question (not sure I would put in a claim).

"If the player in question was acquired via free agency, the player will be released back into the free agency pool, and the penalties will be assessed, based on the number of previous infractions." I am hoping Ben will chime in here soon, just in case the website is off and he can point out any errors I've made previous to the Sproles signing.
