To my knowledge, that IS the current app. It's WAY out of date. MFL is pretty accurate as far as I know, as Burt's been keeping that up.

I've updated the roster app to the best of my abilities. I'm going to email a copy to Mike to have him post it. However, I wasn't able to match it to MFL for most teams. I have the Fat Nancies, Gunslingers, and Vibe matched to MFL withing a dollar. For the rest I'm going to need people to check over their rosters and let me know what needs to be fixed. For most teams, the difference is somewhere in the salary adjustments which don't seem to be matching up. Please go through your own teams and let me know what needs to be done to get the roster app jived with the website. Maybe someone will make an executive decision just to adjust the roster app to match the website, but I'm not making that call.

We do have a couple of situations though. I posted in the Ogunleye thread that Jake has been over the roster limit for some time since his Ogun acquisition, and I believe he's played in games. Something willl need to be done about that.

Also, I believe the Wallace Clan are over the salary cap, and have been for some time. I have them as 284 cbs over the cap. The website does not, and the issue appears to be with Jericho Cotchery and Gerald Hayes, who were reneged by the Wallace Clan according to the roster app, but their salary adjustments weren't made on the website. Adding in their 150 cb adjustment to each player puts the Clan over the cap. Since their only recent addition is Mare, who was only 100, they've been over cap for quite a while if I am correct.

I will dig into it when I get a chance. Ultimatly though, each person is responsible for his own team, and any violations will have to be retro if need be. I can only do the best I can in keeping up with all the moves made, but I can't be responsible for getting everything 100% perfect. Not that anyone is putting this on me, but just a precursor in case I have to assess penalties and take out scores and people get pissed....the 2 owners in question here should also verify these transactions...

Okay, as far as I can tell, both Mutts and Clan are over the cap, Clan via salary limits, Mutts via the 12 IDP limit. Mutts penalty is clear via the rules, he loses Ounleye and is assessed the penalty. Not sure if this is the first violation, but will check into that later. Not really sure at what point Clan was put over the salary limit, since the trade was done before the season started. Will have to research more to see which FA signing put him over, and that player will have to be released and penalties assessed. I looked at the rules, and nothing is specifically in there as far as if a team is over the cap and starting players that would have put them over the cap. The closest thing is that the Rules Committee may revue issues like this and assess further penalties.

I'm not putting it on you. I just did not want to assume authority and announce points were coming off games, or what not.

However, I do think we need someone keeping the roster app updated so we have a check and balance going on. Each team would be responsibile for making sure their team matched in both spots. I'm not sure why the penalties didn't add up for all the teams, but I didn't feel like going through 9 teams to see where the difference were.

On a separate note, it appears Vince Young's 100 cb bonus was not reflected on the website. His salary should be 551, not 451.

FYI, I fixed MFL for my squad. When I placed Josh Bullocks on IR from my Taxi Squad at the end of August, BUrt had apparently posted an 85cb credit adjustment to my roster since his cap shouldn't have counted against my active roster.

I deleted the credit, now the App and MFL are within 1 for my team.

OK, I am going to have to figure out when Clan went over the cap, and that player will have to be cut. I am also going to give a zero for each week each player was in violation (for Mutts and Clan). It probably won't get done until tonight.

Pleaes check your rosters for errors. I updated as best I could but I'm sure there are some mistakes out there.
