1.1 pick is available for right price

While I have every intention of using my newly acquired 1.1 pick to select Adrian Peterson and build around him, I decided I'd be remiss in my managerial duties if I didn't explore what this 1.1 pick might be worth. If there is anyone out there who's willing to pony up the right amount, the pick is tradeable. Here's what I'm looking for:

- an underpriced starter(s) who I can play this year (OK if he only has 1 year left), allowing me to spend my money on RFAs and put together a squad that will compete this year

PLUS

- draft picks that will allow me to simultaneously build for the future; I'm talking first rounders here (maybe high 2nds); they don't necessarily have to be picks this year

I took a quick look through every team to see who I thought was well under-priced and on a 1 or 2 year contract (while of course I'd love to have 3-5 year guys, I understand that if you're trading for the 1.1, you're abdicating the short-term for the long-term, at least somewhat, and trading 3-5 year guys probably wouldn't be in the cards for you).

Here's who I see and like at first glance:

Evans, Cotchery, Colston, S. Jackson, McAllister, A. Johnson, Fitzgerald, S. Smith, L. Johnson, Burress, R. Williams

So, if you'd like to make Adrian Peterson (or whoever you think THE GUY will be) your stud for the next 5 years, make me an offer. I will consider all offers carefully. If none are enough, I'm quite happy to pick Peterson and root for my Vikes/Popes connection every Sunday. But I sure would like to compete this year AND build, if I can!
