Yes, my lifelong dream of appearing on the news during the sports section has finally come true. A local TV sports anchor, "Perk" does cheesey special interest stories each week, and I, along with my wife, made the most recent one. We were at a class at a theater in Minnapolis teaching stage combat techniques (sword fights, slapping, hair pulling, etc). Anyway, if you're interested, here it is. My wife actually gets the spot light for most of this. Sadly, my on camera interview apparently was left on the cutting room floor.

Now if I was thinking, I would have worn my Nittany Dodgers Back to Back Champs shirt I made as a spoof for my local league. Next time I guess.

Also, as a side note that interests only me, the teacher of the class is a Penn State grad.

(Edited to add for those that don't know me, I'm the one in the red shirt getting knocked around to start things off).

I balded myself on purpose. I still have a full head of hair. I'm actually growing it back due to pressure from the wife.

If I learned anything from this class, I learned that I'm not an actor. Though I think I knew that going in.

Good stuff Brian - that does look like a fun! Unfortunately, my wife always seems to sign us up for classes involving some form of ballroom dancing.
