FYI to Brian (re the App) and any team that might be interested in claiming Carter in the next 24 hours.
Carter was a previous waiver claim, thus Joel only gets hit with half of the cap penalty and NO signing bonus penalty since that was previously paid by the original team that cut him (my Preds ironically). If Carter is claimed in the next 24 hours, the team that claims him can then cut him in the future with no cap penalty whatsoever since the penalties have been paid in full at this point. If nobody claims Carter in the 24 hour window, he then becomes a regualr UFA and normal cap penalties will apply on his future contract.

I thought it was just the signing bonus he did not have to take the hit for (the extra 10% on the current year) but the standard 10% for each year was still full price? Thus, I would have his cap hit as the same as you took, 33 cbs.
