The talent drop to the 2nd round is just too big to trade up into the 1st, particulalry the high half of the 1st, without a 1st included in the deal.

This holds true in the NFL as well, have you EVER seen a team trade 2 2nd's and a later pick to move up into the top half of the 1st?

If Dodges doesn't pick by May 17th, 2008, 08:56 PM (roughly 2 hours from now), his 24 hour clock will expire and the draft will resume with Geeks selection at 3.03.

Dodgers will be able to make his pick whenever he gets on.
