Damn, I dropped from the #2 pick to the #4 with that win. I should have conceded the win to the Clowns but felt that wasn't fair to the Bounty Hunters...now, I find out it didn't matter AND I lost two spots. DOH!

I made so dumb coaching moves this week (START YOUR STUDS! BOLDIN!), but for the whole season my terrible IDPs (particularly DL) is what did me in. I practically lived and died with the Raiders, who managed to suck the previous 2 weeks when I needed them the most.

GAHHH!

Oh well. I have the 3rd overall pick to put to good use and next decent cap space next year to spend on IDPs.

On the 2nd round comp pick you listed Geeks as 2.13 and Hunters as 2.14. I thought Hunters would get the higher comp pick based on draft order. Geeks traded to the 1st pick. The rules read:

"In the case of multiple compensatory picks in same round, the picks will be in same order as the current Rookie Draft order, 1-12."

Or does Geeks trade to a higher pick change his comp pick?

I guess I need interpretation from some of the people who were around when this was initially discussed. Since Bobby used all of one 1st round tender, and some of his second 1st round tender in his 1st round comp, I thought we said he cannot use the same criteria in the next round, that Hans would then have the highest pick, since he still had all his 1st round tender left?

This is the assumption I went under - there was not a tie going into 2nd round...Hans had 32 point, Bobby 16.

I looked over all the threads pertaining to comp pick ranking and agree that Geeks get the higher 2nd round pick based on amount over tender.

Hunters were 950 over tender for 2 players and used about 2/3 of that on the 1st round comp pick.
Geeks were 900 over tender for 1 player and had all of that available for the 2nd round tie breaker.
