Well I cut him because I felt he was vastly overpaid for a fringe TE in a murky TE situation. Cooley was out much of last season and is expected back this year (albeit amid reports that he feels slower). Yeah I know Davis's numbers look decent (though he also missed 4 weeks), and yes the WR situation is questionable, and there is a rookie QB who may lean on TE's, but none of that adds up to the salary he'd been bid up to IMO. He had the 6th most PPG last year, with a revolving door at QB. So not sure how you can call him a fringe TE...Cooley is not going to make an impact on Davis this year or in the future.

And since when does the salary an owner wants to pay a player, always indicative to his worth to that team? I think I vastly overpaid for MJD last year, compared to Foster, but without MJD, I don't think I would have won the title last year.

If you have cap, and only a few players worth spending it on, then why not spend it?

Remember who topped 6K on LT...

If you guys are so friggin smart on the value of players how did you let Burt get Arien Foster at such a low price? You were asleep at the wheel then just as you are now.

Never mind the above this Davis guy really sucks big time.
