As it was brought up in Frenzy, our rules state that Division games should preferably be on non-bye weeks. So I have adjusted our schedule to accommodate. I was not aware of this, so we have not done it in the past. I will remember, hopefully, from now on...

I just now noticed, but why am I playing a division opponent in Week 4 which has NFL teams on a bye?
It looks like we should flip the Week 12 non-division opponent with this week's division opponent, correct? That would set up a Week 12 double-header against division opponents. But maybe I'm missing something. Last edited by Liquid Swords; September 25th, 2012 at 09:10 AM. |

Since schedule is already set, maybe we just leave it as-is. If we have the same situation next season, maybe we put it up for a vote.

Yah, I guess I did not realize that part of rule book. Since taking over as commish, the only changes I ever made to the schedule was to move the double header to non-bye week. So we have been doing this for a while...my bad on that. I will try to remember next year, to adjust to schedule all division games to non-bye weeks...

I don't mind switching it, but we will need to do it before Thursday...
How does everyone else feel about this? Should we switch it now, or just remember to do it next year and each year after?

I don't think we were affected last year since bye weeks were 5-9 and 11 (6 weeks). This year byes run from weeks 4-11 (8 weeks).
