2012 Rookie Bonuses

Can someone go through and determine the Rookie Bonuses that need to be doled out based on 2012 performance for me?

I'll give the rookie bonuses another shot. However, I'm still not clear on how renegs effect the bonus.

My line of thinking is once a players contract is renegotiated he is no longer under his original contract and the bonus is no longer applied. We discussed this a couple of years ago but I'm not sure we reached a conclusion as we didn't vote on it.

Rookies get bonuses for the FULL length of their initial contract.so 5 year deal is subject to bonus for 5 years....you reneg before the end if 4th year, so he is under new contract going into next year, but still gets bonus going into last year of contract...make sense?

Let's take one of my players, Jordy Nelson, He was drafted in 2008 and assigned a 5 year contract, I reneged him after the 2011 season (following his 4th season when MFL showed 2 years left on contract). If I understand your comment he is subject to a rookie bonus based on his 2012 performance (#35 ranked WR). So all players on their rookie contracts are subject to the bonus for 1 year after you reneg?

Using your example...Nelson was under contract in 2008, 09, 10, 11 and 12. You are not going to apply a bonus to his 2013 contract, since his rookie contract expired in 2012. You applied a bonus to his 2012 contract based on his 2011 performance, and that was his last year of rookie contract.

So to answer your question, Jordy Nelson will not be subject to rookie bonus in 2013 salary

Quick question. Are rookie bonuses based on all 17 weeks? Or is it based on week 16 (championship week) or week 13 (last regular season week). Depending on the answer it looks like there may be some additional rookie bonuses that need to be applied. Thanks!

We have always taken bonuses based on whatever MFL has as total points.

Yes, rookie bonuses are based on the full NFL regular season.

Posting on phone, but if I remember correctly, I was thinking that McCoy or Pettigrew was subject to a rookie bonus. It was one or the other based on if it was determined thru week 14 or 17. I could be completely wrong of course.
