Default SOLD??

I know the clock got changed because of the "Halt" but it looks like there are some players out there that have SOLD but the threads have not been updated. Am I missing something or are there players who are essentially of the auction block at this point?

Could someone let me know so I can update my lists to see who I can still pursue?

Thanks.

Matt -

I think we're back on the 48-hour clock now (oops, 72 for weekends)... so basically anything with a 6/4 date has cleared... and anything with a 6/5 date has cleared if it corresponds with the actual time we are now (i.e. 48-hour window). Anything dated the 6th won't clear until the 9th.

I remember last year that the commissioners were reminding us that we need to take ownership of our bids/roster... that means even though they haven't posted the magical "SOLD" sign on the thread title, if it's passed the time period, those players are ours, and it's our responsibility to make sure that our cap/roster size limits fit... or face the dreaded penalties!

Hope that helps.

Aloha!

All the SOLD threads have been updated (the other 2 mods could do this too you know... :p).

Further I've updated the roster app and draft tracker again. They can be viewed or downloaded, and as usual please double check them for errors.

Jim (Opihi), not that your trade with the Llamas violates the leaue rules and is null and void. I've given you 12 hours to make other arrangements or rework a new deal with the Llamas. See the trade thread for specific details as to why the trade wasn't legal.

As for personal responsibility, you hit the nail on the head Jim. I'm not going to babysit bids. If you win a bid, and fail to get under the cap or roster limit within 24 hours you WILL be penalized as we voted on in the rules this year. The penalty may not be noticed right away, since I can't feasibly update the app daily, but when it is updated, if I notice an infraction penalties will be enforced without question. Just want everyone to understand that.

Don't try to slip trough the cracks, each team is responsible to maintain a legal roster and be under the cap at all times. Penalties (i.e. cuts and fines) will be retroactive to the date of the infraction (that includes an in-season claim where theoretically a FA could be started by a team violating the cap and or roster size). In this instance, if it were to occur, the normal penalties will apply, however, the team would also lose the FA from their lineup and would not be allowed to retroactively insert someone else. Make sense?

Thanks. BTW, the summary tab is awesome. Thanks for adding the draft picks and for adding to the App.
