waive WR Andre Johnson, Hou (2014/1)
Andre Johnson is assigned 1 year and promptly waived in off-season roster shuffling as we welcome one of our favorite WR's aboard in Anquan Boldin.
This is also a message to players that Preds management does not take well to players who hold out while under contract. (That said, if Fitz was my QB I might hold out as well). Good luck AJ, maybe we'll reconsider at a much smaller contract.

Circumstances change, landing both MJD and Boldin and opening up 651 in cap is a nice trade-off for eating the 403cb's on AJ's contract.
