I think it should be limited to players that are placed on IR by their NFL teams. This could be helpful to us during off season FA.

Yeah...there are too many implications here to open it so early...not sure I like giving salary back to folks I may be bidding against...then again if it was me I would want the extra cap space and years added back in....we do have a process in place and I know injuries happen, but we all want a fair playing field and I am not sure that I want to change the way it is done now even if it would possibly help me down the road at some point.
