Can you clarify the pick conditions that could make it go from a 3rd to a comp 2nd?

I presume the terms are from a previous trade of that pick, but helpful for us to track these picks if those terms can be listed here.

"Freedom gives the better of their worst 2020 2nd round comp pick, or 2020 3rd round pick, if they do not have a 2020 2nd round comp."

My understanding is if Freedom has 2nd round comp picks that the least desirable pick is this one. If he only has one 2nd round comp then it goes to Burners. If he has no 2nd comp pick then this pick defaults to his natural 3rd.

If Matt gives a 2nd comp pick then he keeps his natural 3rd so he does get compensation for declining a RFA match.

Basically, if Freedom gets a 2nd round comp, that will be part of our Howard deal. IF he has multiple 2nd round comps, he gives us the worst one. IF no second round comp, we get his natural 3rd round pick
