The Red Rocks Pea Cocks stick a flag on this hill. Claimed, unless someone else overclaims him.

Working on getting the 2020 app finalized and 2021 created, I noticed that this put the Pea Cocks over the contract years cap by 1 year unless I'm missing a cut or move somewhere in the app. See latest 2020 update.

Sorry dude....way past grace period now..I'd have to break out the rule book, but pretty sure we still have 24-72 hours (not sure which in off season) to make move to fit in newly acquired players...

Yep:
"The claiming team will have the standard 24 hours from the time of the claim to make room on their roster, before Roster Penalties will be enforced." So Davis is now a FA, and the 10% penalty will be assessed.

Damn dude!
Love ya, so take my rant with a grain of salt... ...this seems rather harsh. We have chosen to not have a single live document of our Roster App online, instead opting for periodically updated master versions that we each then download (and some of us then re-upload to use on cloud-based software such as GSheets or Excel360 or whatever, but I digress). Somewhere along the way, my record of my current roster got un-synced from reality but I had no way to check other than to take the newest version, re-download and re-upload. Upon realizing this error, I was in compliance within 1 hour. Whether I was over my years for 1 second or 1 month, it's all the same as I had no way of knowing I was over on my app until you pointed it out. I respect all the work ya'll do to keep everything periodically updated, I really do. And I do enjoy all the layers of strategy that are involved in SACD - it is complex, and some of that complexity makes it cool. But there are some things that just seem to be unnecessarily complex - for owners and commissioners alike. The fact that we don't just have the Roster App as a live document online is one of those things - placing the expectation that owners manually mirror all changes made between Roster App uploads, it just seems...unnecessary? All good. Not storming off into the night or anything. But I do disagree with the "verdict" if you will. Guess I'll just run the tables on ya'll.

We have shown leniency before, and I have no problem with it now. This kind of thing seems to happen this time of year each year. Lots going on, trying to get back into the flow...many changes going on to our teams, yeah, sometimes things get quite confusing.
So anyways, we can let this one slide if no one has any strong objections. I always was of the mindset that between end of season, until RFA tenders are due, we should not enforce caps - just get in line when RFA tenders are due, or when rosters roll over...

Considering I just got the benefit of the doubt on my RFA declarations...off with his head! Oh wait, we're good.
