Nittany Dodgers look to even the score with Predators Week 4

After four years, and two leagues, the Nittany Dodgers and Parkwood Predators have played each other to a 3-3 regular season tie between the two leagues (2-2 Frenzy, 1-1 SAC'D). Week 4 will be their 7th regular season meeting, and 8th overall.

"They have that Frenzy Bowl victory hanging over our head. It's left a bad taste in our mouth for 9 months. We want our revenge this week," said Nittany Dodger front man Brian Giel this week.

"A win would put us at 3-1 and we'll at least keep pace with the Squirrel Chasers. The Preds will drop to 1-3, and will have an uphill battle to get into contention in a tough league this year," continued Brian.

Various media outlets have reported some whiny bitching and moaning coming out of the Preds camp, and their "whoa is me" attitude going into this weeks' game. An unnamed souce inside the Dodger front office, speaking on the condition of anonimity stated the Dodgers had received a fax from the Predators fax number this week.

"The page was blank," said the source. "At first we just assumed they sent a fax to us upside down, but then we realized they were faxing over their white flag this week. At least that is what we figured when we saw Ron Dayne in their starting lineup this week."

As has been made well known by the Predators PMSing woman like bitching over the past few days, they will be without the services of Shaun "Madden Cover" Alexander this week due to injury, and underachieving Cadillac "Should Have Purchased the Extended Warranty" Williams is on the bye.

"141.8 to 119.25. It's been posted in our lockroom since Frenzy Bowl V. We expect to see a similar score this week, but the Dodgers won't be on the losing end this time."

Well, I know I said there'd be a press release after the game if I kicked your butt, but I figured that was pretty cowardly of me, so I'm throwing the gauntlet down now.

But, as long as you're taking the attitude that you can actually beat me, it will be a sweet victory to not hear the excuses come Tuesday.

I just couldn't resist slining a little mud back ya. ;)

2-2 is nice in light of my injuries and whatnot, but I still have an uphill battle in the division and the wild card. Still lots of season left though, so who knows where my team will go. I'll take the win.
