Because he was cut, the default is one year. Had we communicated prior to the cut, I could've assigned up to 5 years and traded him to you.

Bids can't be retracted. Not sure on Waiver Claims as the rules don't cover it. I'd think it should be the same as a bid, but Commish can make a call. I have no recollection of past any past precedence on waiver claim retractions.

Since this is a "just getting to know the system" kind of retraction (and you thought you could change the number of years, but now realize you can't), I'll allow it.
If it was a "I've changed my mind" retraction, then I'd say no. A bid is a bid. A claim is a claim. So yah... this one time I'll allow the claim to be retracted. |
